BIANCA HARTLEY
Fitness is my passion. After over 20 years working in the corporate world, I left my job as a Vice President of Marketing and turned my passion and side hustle into my full-time career by becoming a Personal Trainer.
I love training and I love training people. I love watching people overcome hurdles and blossom. I understand the importance of training on physical and mental health, and I strive to understand each of my client's unique challenges and work with them to realise and achieve their goals.
Whether you're looking to get in shape, improve your fitness, learn to lift or box, or simply need some structure and accountability to your training regime; I can help.

RUNNING
I have a love–hate relationship with running, but it’s a staple of my weekly training. I’ve taken on some tough endurance challenges, including the iconic 22 mile Man vs Horse race, Man vs Mountain in Snowdonia, as well as completing a 42-mile ultra made up of one-mile laps from the gym door.
The best part, though, has been doing it alongside our members - helping and encouraging them achieve things they never thought possible.

HYBRID TRAINING
I was hybrid training long before HYROX hit the mainstream. I’ve completed three HYROX races, with a top-five age group finish, and I regularly test myself with my own training challenges.
We run regular charity hybrid events, giving both members and non-members the chance to push themselves, try something different, and raise money for our chosen charity, PAPYRUS UK.

THAI BOXING
There’s nothing quite like hitting pads to get you fit, keep you agile and keep you sane. I’ve been hitting and holding pads for almost a decade, spending time at a training camp in Thailand to get a taste of how the Thais do it. I didn’t start until I was in my 40s proving that it’s never too late to give it a go.

STRENGTH TRAINING
Strength training is the foundation of everything I do - it’s non-negotiable. Building strength and muscle is a slow and gradual process, but the rewards are well worth it, particularly as we get older. It creates shape, improves function, and helps reduce the risk of injury.

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT
MAISIE

When I walked into LDJ Fitness it had been 5 years since I walked through the door of a gym. And this place is so much more than a gym, it’s full of supportive people that made it so much easier for me to get back into fitness. Bianca and James put on classes that make you push yourself every week and I have a new found love for Boxing and Thai Boxing.
I’ve had PT sessions with Bianca since April 21 and ‘thank you’ isn’t enough for the support she has given me to get me back into fitness and in helping through the recovery from unexpected surgery in October 21. Each session is varied and tailored to me and my long-term goals. I’ve struggled with my weight and have always obsessed about the scales. She has taught me scales are not the be all and end all. Training hard and a balanced diet has become my focus and the weight loss has followed. Bianca continues to push me and I will always be grateful for her support. This gym has given me the confidence to train again.
