Run for Hope

Saturday 6 September 2025
8am - 8pm

Run, walk or crawl as many 1.5km laps as you can in either 12 or 6 hours, and help raise funds for PAPYRUS - The Prevention of Young Suicide. â€‹

Race rules – how it works

Set your goal
Before the race begins, each runner sets a personal number of laps to complete every hour. Got a total distance in mind for the 6 or 12 hours? Break it down into hourly targets to keep you moving throughout the whole race. This is a challenge - so set yourself a goal that will scare, excite and test what you're capable of.

Start each hour together
On the hour, every hour, everyone starts running — aiming to hit their own hourly lap goal.

Rest or go beyond
Once you’ve completed your hourly target you can rest until the next hour begins, or keep running to challenge yourself and go beyond.

In support of PAPYRUS

This will be our fourth event in support of PAPYRUS – Prevention of Young Suicide, a cause that’s incredibly close to our hearts.

The statistics are shocking*

  • Suicide is the main cause of death in young people under the age of 35 in the UK.

  • In 2023, 1,840 young people under the age of 35 took their own lives in the UK.

  • Around three-quarters of them were boys or young men.

  • On average, around five young people take their lives each day.

If you can't take part, you can still make a donation
